End of year review

As another year comes to an end, we as a company spend a lot of time reviewing and appraising the previous year and setting goals and objectives for the next year. We review positives and also negatives that have affect us and our customer and focus on maintaining the positives but more importantly address any negative issues and try to ensure we turn them into positives. We would not be able to continue to grow as a company without the support of the customers that continue to use 3Q Sports.

With the continued support of our loyal customers and numerous new ones, 2016 has seen 3Q Sports have its best year to date, we cannot thank you enough for your support and hope it continues in the future. We are now established as one of the leading Teamwear suppliers in the UK and strive to maintain and improve on this.

At the beginning of 2016 we invested heavily in new embroidery and customisation machinery as well as new staff and technology which enabled us to produce even more orders than ever before. However, with such an increase in sales and demand increasing to a scale of which we did not expect, our procedures have been overloaded in the busy times causing some issues. No business can improve without correcting the issues that arise throughout the year. Although problems that occur are dealt with in most cases satisfactorily, the big issues with staff, working procedures and machinery can only be dealt with at the right time for the business. We have identified key areas that have caused major issues for customers and in some cases have let customers down. This is something we do not want and are looking to correct this in 2017 to ensure an even better service to our customers.

The UK Teamwear market is evolving all the time and the continuous growth is not only in grassroots sports but also academies, universities and other organisations which makes it almost impossible for our suppliers to keep up with demand and changing trends. Due to this we have had many stock issues and our suppliers, in particular adidas, Nike and Joma, are working hard to ensure forecasting is improved and stock holding increased. We can only apologies for any customers that we have let down due to stock issues and strive to improve this as we work closely with our suppliers.

2017 is set to be an even bigger challenge than ever before for 3Q Sports, we will be investing heavily into new staff, new embroidery machines, new phone systems, new website updates and increasing our current location capacity with a new office unit. With the new website updates, we will be introducing live chat and ticketing system that will help all customers with instant access to our sales team to answer questions quickly and easily. We have introduced new procedures into the business to make each department work in harmony with each other, this will benefit the customer and help us process orders quicker and faster and hopefully reduce our lead times.

We have had an incredible year and cannot thank you enough for your support throughout the year. We aim to improve on this year to make your life easier when ordering and receiving your order. Our aim is to strengthen our relationship with you and work alongside you, we hope our new investments will provide a better service to all involved.

We would like to wish all our customers a great Christmas and Happy and prosperous New Year, we look forward to seeing you again in 2017.
